Nissan calls it ‘Augmented Reality’ but we’d call it cool. The Cube manages to package so much into so little. It looks and drives like a much bigger car and the interior bends the mind with it’s feeling of spaciousness.
CUBE - 5 seats
CUBE 3 - 7 seats
The 7 seat Cube 3 manages to put an extra pair of seats in a third row with only a short extension of the wheel base and overall length. The 2 third row seats fold away to create a large space for luggage, cargo, animals or anything else you can think of! Take a closer look at what has shaped the Cube here. “Nissan’s Cube
is coolness in a box.”

“The Cube is undiluted
Tokyo Chic.”
LY Times, 31 May 2009

The latest generation of Cube can trace it’s routes back to 1998 and the launch of the Cube Z10. As cities in Japan grew increasingly crowded, the demands and constraints on parking meant Japanese car manufacturers and their design teams needed to produce smaller vehicles that still appealed to consumers that had a taste for quality, space, performance and utility.
In 2002 Nissan launched the replacement of the Z10 to resounding sales success in Japan. The model was so popular with the
Japanese market that it created a new segment and saw a cultural shift in the tastes of the Japanese motorists.
Today with it’s combination of design, quality, space, performance, utility and looks the cube is cooler than ever. From it’s asymmetrical rear door to the seamless CVT transmission is a class act copied by many, matched by none.

Variants: Both the Cube and the Cube 3 come with the option of a 1.4L or 1.5L engine.
*e4WD system with HR15DE is fitted with 4 speed automatic transmission. From a performance and ride quality point of view the 1.5L cube is superior in all facets. The 1.5L benefits from a wider range of ratios contained in the continuously variable transmission (CVT) as a result it out accelerates the 1.4L and still achieves better fuel economy.

The Cube has an almost infinite number of combinations of variants, colours, options &individualisations. Making a Cube your ‘own’ is not only easy, it’s fun!
We have put together a gallery of modifications, customisation and individualisation that you can view below.

Falling in love with the Cube is easy, and so is looking after it! General servicing and maintenance good practice should be applied to any car and the Cube is no exception.

1. Regularly check your oil level. A low level of engine oil can lead to excessive wear and reduced performance. The oil level should always be between the min & max markers on the dip stick..

3. Check your tire pressure. Low tire pressure will lead to your vehicle not handling as well and reduces the lifespan of a set of tyres. Your Cube is fitted with a tyre placard in the driver’s door jam that specifies the correct tyre inflation pressures. Be sure to measure tire pressure when the tyres are cold. You will also find keeping the tyres inflated correctly will result in a lighter & easier steering feel.
If you and your Cube are located in Sydney we would recommend the specialists service centre of International Motor Group to look after your pride and joy.
